This page explains how the FileSway iPhone app and this website handle information. It is written for people using the app and for App Store review. If anything is unclear, email support@cornerpostweb.com.
Document processing
Document processing does not upload your files to our servers.
Image conversion, PDF tools, previews and OCR (text recognition for searchable PDFs) run on your iPhone. Your originals stay unchanged.
Some things can still use the internet: cloud file providers may download an original to your device before FileSway can open it, Apple handles purchases and restores, and links you open go to their websites.
Accounts and tracking
FileSway does not ask you to create an account or log in. The app does not include an advertising SDK, an analytics SDK, or a Corner Post Web conversion server.
Purchases
FileSway Pro is an optional one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple. Apple handles your payment details; we don’t receive them. Restore Purchases uses Apple’s purchase system. There is no subscription.
Photos, Files and metadata
FileSway reads only the photos and files you choose from Photos or Files. Supported metadata is kept by default. You can choose to remove location, or remove broader supported metadata. Some fields can’t carry over between formats.
Removing location metadata does not remove addresses or other details that are visible in the image itself.
This website
This marketing site is a static website. It serves its own fonts and images and doesn’t use cookies, analytics or an account system. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to operate and protect the site; those logs are not used to process your documents.
Children
FileSway is a general-audience utility. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
